Leaving the Royal Village Resort after one night. It was one of the best decisions I made during my holiday in Ukraine. The staff in the restaurant was friendly and helpful.

The resort and chalet room did not live up to my expectations from the photographs as displayed on the web site. There was no hot water when I arrived mid-afternoon. The room was basic and clean but did not resemble the photograph on the web site. In addition they did not even provide a chair. The site ‘watchman?’ could not understand English and was not the type of person suitable to greet people. He seemed more like a workman. The ‘resort’ is still under construction and is a building site. The entrance was muddy with a large pools of water. A make-shift gangplank led to my chalet. The chalet was surrounded by bare earth and stones and other extensive areas had not been landscaped. The resort is a disgrace and I advise potential guests to find other accommodation.

Rooms very beautiful and modern! Loction good, only short (1 mile) romantic horse carraige ride to skiing center. 5 minutes by taxi. staff very pleasant. 5 piece orchestra music (violin) in dining area very romantic! No problem returning to this resort! And I have stayed at the 5 star grand hotels in Saint Petresburg, Dnepropetrovsk and Moscow.
